SYOSSET, N.Y., September 13, 2005 - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced
that it will provide enterprise-wide, digital security solutions for three major
casinos in the United States. SkyDancer Hotel & Casino, located in Belcourt,
N.D.; Winna Vegas Casino, located in Sloan, Iowa; and Tulalip Casino in Tulalip,
Wash.; will each be equipped with Honeywell's digital video recording.
All three casinos will be either adding new or increasing the surveillance
coverage offered by their Honeywell Enterprise Network Video Recorders.
Honeywell's Digital Video Recording System will eliminate the need for
videotapes, improving picture quality and dramatically reducing the time it
takes to review footage. And using the ULTRAKeyTM keyboard controller, these
casinos will further streamline operations with a fully programmable CCTV
keyboard with touch-screen display that simplifies the operation of their large
video systems.
For SkyDancer and Tulalip, Honeywell's MAX-1000 CCTV Management System makes
total video security integration possible in their extensive systems. The system
allows all security components - CCTV, matrix switches, digital video recorders,
point-of-sale data, monitors and thousands of surveillance cameras - to be
linked together.
"Honeywell understands that managing all components of a casino's security
system is complicated work, and we offer integrated solutions to simplify the
process," said Scott Harkins, vice president of North American Sales for
Honeywell Video Systems. "Our work with SkyDancer, Winna Vegas and Tulalip
illustrates our commitment to providing top-notch digital surveillance for the
gaming industry."
